OKAVANGO DELTA

The Okavango Delta is a unique ecosystem in that it is situated in the middle of the largest stretch of continuous sand in the world- the Kalahari basin. The wetland lies like an oasis in an otherwise inhospitable landscape. The vegetation is lush, but very fragile and the wildlife is of the very best to be seen. The Okavango Delta covers an area of 15000 square kilometers.

MOREMI GAME RESERVE

The Moremi Game Reserve forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta. Comprising permanently swamped areas, seasonally swamped areas and dryland. It is probably the prime tourist destination in Botswana. It is not only offers water activities such as Boat trips and Mokoro trips, but it is top game-viewing and incredible scenery. Moremi Game Reserve covers an area of 4871 square kilometers. This is almost one-third of the Okavango Delta- a fact that Botswana is very proud of it.

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

The Chobe National Park offers extreme contrasts and variety of wildlife experience within the confines of one park. It covers a variety of vegetation types and geological features which vary from almost tropical habitat of the linyanti swamp to the severe, desert –like landscape of the Savuti Marsh and from the lush Chobe flood plain grassland to the deep sands of the Brachestegia woodland. Chobe National Park covers an area of 11000 square kilometers.
